We sell three caliber sizes - .40, .50
and .62 caliber. Please make sure when ordering your blowgun and
accessories that you stay within the same caliber. Darts are NOT
interchangeable between the different sizes. Product selection can be made

The .40 caliber blowguns and accessories are the most popular
blowguns. This size is great for the beginner and all around use for
target practice, hunting and paint balling. Manufacturers make the
most product for this line.
The .50 caliber and .62 caliber blowguns
are more for hunting. You will find less "play" accessories for
these two sizes.

LENGTH ACCURACY AND VELOCITY DIFFERENCES:
In
posting the following information, you can use the references chart for the .50 caliber and
.62 caliber. However, the manufacturers claim that by using the
.50 caliber and .62 caliber blowguns you can achieve about 25% more velocity and
distance.
- 24" - accuracy range 50 feet, 150 feet
per second
- 27" - accuracy range 75 feet, 175 feet
per second
- 36" - accuracy range 100 feet, 200 feet
per second
- 48" - accuracy range 150 feet, 250 feet
per second
- By adding a 24" extension to any of these
lengths listed above, you can increase your accuracy and distance by another
50 feet.
*NOTE: .38 caliber blowguns were
the norm many years ago. However, none of the manufacturers make any
accessories for this size. You will most likely have to upgrade your
blowgun.
